Our first hotel is the four-star Cozumel hotel and resort and this resort is perfect for couples! Situated right on the beach with their very own beach club. With the beaches white sand and luscious blue warm Caribbean Sea water, it may be hard to remember that this hotel also offers a lot of things to do.

This resort offers the option of all-inclusive or bed and breakfast – all-inclusive may seem more expensive at the time of booking but in the long run it will work out cheaper. There are five different restaurants to feast your eyes on as well as room services which comes at an additional charge.

If having a luxurious room is what you enjoy about going away then this Cozumel hotel certainly won’t disappoint as there are five different rooms to choose from including a standard room, standard partial ocean view, superior room, family superior room and a junior suite.

This hotel is only one mile away from the newly renovated center square where you will find dozens of authentic local shops, restaurants, and bars, so don’t forget those all-important Mexican Pesos.

As well as all of this there’s also a massive range of swimming pools to dive into and a good range of sun beds so that you can top up that increasingly important tan.

Our second hotel to stay in Cozumel is the Secrets Aura. Prices for a holiday at this hotel are at the more expensive end and this is definitely a place to come with your partner and not kids. Situated on the Cozumel island, this five-star hotel really is a place of luxury.

One thing that really sells this hotel are the views of the hotels private beach and the beachfront bars, so you can sit back, relax and enjoy a fresh pina colada or lemonade (included in the price) whilst looking over the Caribbean Sea.

If you like getting stuck into water activities, then the Secrets Aura has you covered on this too! You’re able to pre-book a range of exciting activities including snorkelling, scuba diving, Beach and pool volleyball, tennis, aqua aerobics and paddle boarding.

If you’d prefer to lounge by the pool all day then we don’t blame you! Choose from an infinity pool, an exclusive club pool and an outdoor whirlpool. There’s also a choice of 11 different hotel rooms to choose from, some of which have a view of the swimming pool, a view of the beach, rooms with your own outdoor pool and suites.

Our third Cozumel hotel is for anybody who’s on a budget but still wants to remain close to the amenities. The Hacienda San Miguel is a three-star hotel that has a traditional Mexican feel. What you’re paying for in this hotel is simply just the room as there is no outdoor pool or own private beach.

There are three different rooms to choose from, all of which are studio rooms meaning that you’ll get your very own kitchen and fridge in the room as well as kitchen utensils, so you can save a fortune on eating out and you’ll get to cook your own authentic Mexican food.

The Hacienda San Miguel hotel is situated in the perfect spot, right in the center of Cozumel and only just over a mile from Cozumel International Airport! If you fancy a walk and getting to discover more of this Mexican island then luckily enough, the beach is just a few minutes’ walk from this hotel.

If the heat is getting too hot, then you can always take a taxi to explore other areas of Cozumel. The Museum of the Island of Cozumel is just a four-minute walk from the hotel, and this is a trip which we definitely recommend! You’ll get to learn more about the islands history and after you’ve finished, why not have a bite to eat in the oceanfront restaurant?
